How to register
- Click the Registration Form button below and register online from the ‹Registration› section.
- You can register up to 10 attendees per transaction.
- Once registration is complete, you will receive a registration confirmation email to your email address. After that, you can proceed to your payment section.
- You can modify your registration details before making the payment. To modify your registration details, click the Registration Form button below and enter your login ID and password at the ‹Modify registration details› section to proceed to make changes. Please note that after the registration fee is paid, you will not be able to make any changes.
*There is a deadline for making changes to your registration details. For more details, please refer to Modification of registration details.
- Those who have paid their registration fees will be notified of check-in procedures approximately 2 weeks before the Symposium.

Registrants can attend the Symposium for 3 days from July 9-11, 2019.

The registration fee includes:
A congress bag, abstract proceedings, digital lecture proceedings, Symposium programs, exhibition guidebook, certificate of participation (name tag), and attendance for the opening reception on July 9 (not included if you have registered as a "Student")
*NOTE: The registration fee does not include participants’ meals (except for the food provided at the opening reception) or accommodations.
To register for the Symposium as a "Member", you need to have an individual or organizational membership of the Japan Water Research Center (JWRC) or the International Water Association (IWA). The Symposium’s administrative staff will check whether the registrant is a qualified member of either organization.
You need to be enrolled in school or college at the time of the Symposium. You will be asked to provide your student ID or other proof of your status during check-in at the reception desk.
Technical tour (optional)
Registered attendees of the Symposium can also attend the technical tour that will be conducted on the afternoon of July 11, 2019. Please note that attendees for this tour will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

How to pay the fee
- Please pay your registration fee either by credit card or by bank transfer.
- The bank transfer fee must be paid by the applicant.
- If paying by bank transfer, for the accuracy of confirmation of your transfer, please indicate the sender’s name in the money transfer order as follows:
If only 1 person is registered: The sender’s name must be [the login ID for registration (5-digit number) + the name of the applicant (an individual or an organization)]
(Example of the sender’s name: 10001 Taro Yokohama)
If more than 2 persons are registered: The sender’s name must be [the login ID for registration (5-digit number) + the name of the organization under which the registration is made (a public entity, a company, etc.)]
(Example of the sender’s name: 10002 Inter Group Corp.)
*If it is difficult to clearly indicate the registration number in the transfer order because the transfer is to be made by an organization (a public entity, a company, etc.), please contact the Administrative Services Office (whose contact information is provided at the end).
How to receive an invoice
If you need an invoice for the registration fee, please email the Administrative Services Office (email@example.com) with the applicant’s name, organization and the login ID.
How to receive a receipt
A receipt for payment of the registration fee will be given to the applicant on-site at the venue of the Symposium.
Modification of registration details
Making changes to your registration details
You can edit your information (e.g. No. of Participants, Name, and Affiliation) from the link indicated in the email you received as the confirmation of your registration. Please note that you will be asked to provide both your Log-in ID and the password.
The modification of your registration details will not be possible after payment of the registration fee is made. Please also note that the due dates for making changes to your registration information are April 30, 2019 if registered for early bird prices, and June 7, 2019 if registered for regular prices.
Please note that once it is paid, the registration fee will not be refunded.
*If the Symposium is canceled due to causes not attributable to the organizer (e.g., earthquakes, storm and flood damage, incidents and accidents that are beyond the organizer’s control, etc.), the registration fee will not be refunded.
